You gotta know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em...

Last night was our end of summer blow out. We had dinner, I mean a feast, with the Chambers, Chavez' & Jessica's parents. The girls learned how to play poker. Jessica & Vicki were the first to fold. (We were more interested in talking), but our girl Tracy represented! The guys were great teachers and very patient with us chicks.

It is wonderful to have such fantastic friends. Summer maybe over, but our friendships will last a lifetime! Thanks for a great summer Johnnie, Joey, Jessica and Tracy!

A fun night with Donovan

Last night we had a ball with Donovan. We started at BW3s and had wings. "D" ate more than his share of celery. Image that a kid that likes veggies.

Then he & Thad played putt putt. After 10 holes "D" got bored and walked off the course and left Thad standing with putter in hand. It was a crowded. Then he and Thad played arcade games. "D" won close to 500 tickets! Which he redeemed for prizes.

He was just getting warmed up! One of the prizes he won was a squishy ball. When you throw the ball against a window it moved around like it was alive. Too cool. But wait - it gets better. On the way home "D" was throwing it against the windshield, when SPLAT it burst all over the truck and Mr. Thad. What a mess!

After we got home, he & Mr. T played XBox until 1 a.m.

We had a ball (literally) watching "D". He kept us hopping!

Saturday

Today we had beautiful weather in Kentucky. Thad & I did our normal Saturday morning routine, bills & cleaning - yeah!. (Even when you get older you still have chores) Our dearest friends Johnnie & Tracy are celebrating their anniversary -Happy Anniversary Johnnie & Tracy! Thad and I are watching their son Donavan or as we call him "D". We are off the do go carts and eat wings.
